No. The route is entirely on-road, so no off-roading experience or special equipment is required. All drivers must follow posted speed limits and regular traffic laws throughout the event.

Absolutely! Bring your family, friends, or favorite copilot along for the ride. Please make sure every passenger has a proper seat and seat belt.

You must visit the required card stops and return by the announced deadline for your poker hand to qualify. This is not a timed race, so enjoy the drive and travel safely.

Proceeds benefit Safe Harbor and its mission to provide temporary care for dogs while their families navigate domestic violence, housing instability, medical emergencies, military deployment, and other crises.

The event is planned to take place rain or shine. If severe weather or unsafe conditions require a delay, route change, or cancellation, registered participants will be notified by email and through Safe Harbor’s social media pages.

Because registration includes participation in the event and may include other benefits, the full registration fee may not be tax-deductible. Generally, only the amount paid above the fair market value of the benefits received may qualify. Additional donations made without receiving goods or services may be deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax adviser.
